CARA NELSON is an Art Director with over 15 years of experience working on commercial interior and lifestyle photoshoots.

With an education and early work experience in graphic art, Cara developed her skills for designing appealing visual compositions. She brings a passion for creating images that evoke a fresh, warm and inviting lifestyle to each project.

She meets the varied needs of her clients including creative direction, photo art direction, set design, casting and photo production management. She has been fortunate to work with a list of incredibly talented merchandisers, artists and producers and loves collaborating with a team to deliver inspiring images and content. 

Originally from San Francisco, California, Cara has recently moved to Portland, Maine with her family and is looking forward to exploring new opportunities in New England.
